Criminal defense attorney Considine formerly served as conflicts counsel, appointed by the Chester County Court of Common Pleas to represent criminal defendants in matters in which the Public Defender had a conflict of interest.

Some of his earliest experience was representing criminal defendants.  He has represented defendants in trials, preliminary hearings, bail hearings, sentencing and a variety of hearings. His experience in civil rights has helped him gain special expertise in the constitutional rights of criminal defendants.

In a reported decision, he successfully represented a defendant who won his case because he was not given sufficient notice of the suspension of his driver’s license to be convicted of driving while his license was suspended.

In another reported decision,  he had all charges dismissed against a traveling religious speaker charged with disorderly conduct for speaking on controversial issues outside on a college campus: the petition for habeas corpus was granted and the client did not have to face a trial.
